Created in 1962, Spider-Man is among the most recognizable characters ever to leap from the pages of a comic book. Spidey may be over 40, but he's not slowing down. Three blockbuster movies starring Spider-Man have been released in the past five years alone. So, now is the perfect time to throw a Spider-Man party. Try these Spidey themed games to keep your guests from climbing the walls.

What a Tangled Web Spiderman Weaves

For outdoor fun at your next Spider-Man Party, try playing the tangled web with your party guests. In the center of the back yard gather all the guests together. Have them bunch in real tight in a circle with people all jumbled up. Have everyone reach out their hand and grab another persons hand or wrist making sure they do not grab their own. From here the game is on! Have them work as a team to untie the web and create a circle without having to change positions or hands. Some may have to scoot under or above hands but this will create for even more fun. The end result will be a large circle with everyone holding hands.

Steal the Web

This is a great twist on "Steal the Bacon" Spider-Man style. Divide the group into two even teams and put them on opposite sides of the playing field and set the cape in the middle. Name a person on each team Spider-Man, Peter Parker, Green Goblin, Mary Jane etc. If you have more than four players on each team pick additional name under the Spiderman theme. Line each team up and shout out a team player like "Mary Jane." The Mary Jane from each team has to run to the center of the field and try to be the first one to grab the web. The web can be anything from a black dishrag to a plastic spider web. The winning team is the one who has, after every team member has been called, stolen the web the most times!
