Action-Packed Game Ideas for Your Spiderman Birthday Theme Party

Birthday party games are an essential part of your celebrations. When kids come to a party, the only thing they have in mind is to play till they get exhausted. If you don't plan anything for them, they will find their way out and involve themselves in something that you would have never imagined. Therefore, the best way to avoid mess-ups is to keep the little ones busy. For Spiderman birthday theme, be sure to have games that your guests will enjoy throughout the event. The games must be exciting and entertaining. Here are some of the games that you may consider for the superhero fans.

Scavenger hunt: Hide some Spiderman masks, spider rings, plastic spiders, etc. around the party area. Tell the kids that they must find these items to meet the Spiderman. Give them the empty party bags to collect the items in. To add more excitement to this game, give maps and pictures of the collectibles for reference. Award the kid who will collect the maximum collectibles. The prize can be anything such as Spiderman stickers or may be a hug from their hero. Make sure you have something for everyone so that you don't disappoint them.

Once they are done, make them meet their superhero. Ask any of your friend or even your hubby to become the Spiderman for the kids. Take lots of pictures of the kids with their idol and give them away as party favors.

'Kill the bad guy' game:

Take a big piece of cardboard and paste the images of the villains such as the green goblet, the kingpin, etc. on it. Assign points to each of them so that the kids know what each of them is worth. Blindfold the players and give a pushpin to them for each hand. Tell them they have to kill the villains using their web i.e. the pushpin. The child who scores the maximum point is the winner.

A different variation would be giving each of the children a can of silly strings for shooting the villains. In this case, you have to leave their eyes open or else they might hurt anyone by shooting in their eyes.

Web spinning activity:

For this activity, you will need a few red colored paper plates and black wool balls. Ask the little champions to spin the web on the plate using the black wool. You can even spin one in advance and show them as a sample. This will be a fun activity and you can give away the spun plates as party favors.

Venom tag game: Choose a child to become a villain and tell him/her that he/she has a venom tag that can be passed on to anyone by touching them. The other kids have to run around for protecting themselves from the villain. Whenever, the villain touches someone, he/she becomes the next villain. Create a safe play area and arrange some chairs for the kids to rest whenever they are tired. While resting, they are safe and cannot be tagged.

Plan some interesting games so that the kids can spin a web of party fun and with that if you include some Spiderman Party Supplies it will give your party a more exciting look.

How to Plan a Spiderman Birthday Party Theme

Birthday parties can be fun, but also a lot of work. If your son is begging for a spiderman birthday theme, here are some ideas to use for decorations and more.

Since Spiderman is so popular, you shouldn't have any problem finding items featuring this favorite superhero. Although just in case, here's the checklist you'll want to use:

- Spiderman Cake

Pretty easy to buy from the store, or even make at home. Purchase a small toy to place on the top or even a small playset. It can double as a gift!

- Ice Cream & Treats

Ice cream is pretty basic. But if you are looking for additional treats, you may want to look for the ice cream which looks like Spiderman's head. They will most likely be sold at your local grocery store.

- Plastic Forks and Spoons

Easy to forget sometimes, so we have to put it on the list. Purchase red and black to keep with the theme, if you don't already have some stored from last year.

- Plates and Napkins

As mentioned, it shouldn't be hard to find plates and napkins which feature Spiderman. If you can't find any, use red and black instead so you will at least keep with the colors.

- Decorations

This would include party hats (if they are still young enough), streamers, table cloth, and balloons. Buy Spiderman specific where possible, or else buy red and black. Silly string can also make fun decoration for a Spiderman party, and your kid will have a blast putting it up!

- Invitations

If you son will be inviting friends, you'll want to have invitations ready. This will be probably the easiest item to find which will feature Spiderman. Check online if you can't find any in the store. If all else fails, have your child make their own.

Don't forget to get your son involved in the party planning process. Remember it IS for him after all!
