For me the Black Alien costume is perfect for Halloween. It is dark and sinister, where as the original red and blue costume is more akin to your regular fancy dress. You should also remember that these costumes are tight fitting, so make sure you source one of good quality, it's no good if it sags and fits loosely, you need one that hugs to your skin to replicate that spidey costume look.

Modern Halloween Fancy Dress Ideas Are Online


For most people the mention of Halloween conjures up images of a fun filled festival with everybody dressing up in any number of Halloween fancy dress ideas and really enjoying themselves in the community trick or treating. But, to some the ideas that they have when people are wearing skeleton or pumpkin Halloween costumes and the images that they convey are ones of pure fear and evil.

In fact nothing could be further than the truth; Halloween is all about one big joyful celebration.

Of course, today we have diversified in what we wear and some of the fantastic outfits are a real testament to the influences of the world of film and theatre. But, Batman, Superman or Spiderman are all up to the job of taking on the bad guys without question.

Spiderman's a popular costume at Halloween, particularly the last few years with the success of the movie series. He got his powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider, giving him all the abilities of the spider only magnified.

Halloween, which jump starts the fall celebrations, is a special time of year for families with children. Why You Should Choose Any One of the Amazing Spiderman Costumes For This Years Halloween


There are an assortment of amazing Spiderman costumes out there. But the designs mainly stay the same. Spiderman has had many different costumes but there are only two designs that really stick in your mind, the rest were either short lived or simply part of one ongoing episode within the comics, such as when Spiderman becomes captain universe and his costume changes into an amazing design.

The two designs that most people recognise worldwide are the original red and blue design embroidered with a web design and what is commonly known as the alien costume. Which was all in black with the symbol of a spider emblazoned across his chest. Both suits depict important times within Peter Parkers life. Peter Parker being the alter ego of Spiderman.

So which of these amazing Spiderman costumes should you go with. Well I guess you need to know what both costumes brought to the character since as mentioned above they play important part in his ongoing story.

The Red and Blue costume was the original, and is possibly more recognised than the later black alien costume. The costume is not as intimidating as the alien one and to many it represents everything that is Spiderman since he has worn it throughout his career as a super hero. It represents the more chirpy side of Spiderman, the cheeky chappy who loved to taunt his enemies with a little bit of sarcasm.

The black alien costume brought to Spiderman powers he never dreamed he would control. He became faster, stronger, more agile but also more aggressive and intimidating. Peter Parker began to change as a person since the alien costume was actually a symbiote, which joined with his own body, not only affecting his physicality but also his temperament. This was a darker avenue of Spiderman history and it was only down to his own morale code that he managed to discover a way to separate himself from the symbiote.

But that is not the end of Spiderman wearing a black suit. His then girlfriend, the Black Cat made him a replica of the alien costume for him to wear because she thought it looked sexier. He finally returned to the famous red and blue costume after Venom, the Alien costumes new partner attacked his wife Mary Jane and she forced him to dump the black and go with old faithful.

For me the Black Alien costume is perfect for Halloween. It is dark and sinister, where as the original red and blue costume is more akin to your regular fancy dress. You should also remember that these costumes are tight fitting, so make sure you source one of good quality, it's no good if it sags and fits loosely, you need one that hugs to your skin to replicate that spidey costume look.

Whatever design of amazing Spiderman costumes you choose, I'm sure you won't be disappointed, both of the above are brilliant designs and will have you standing out in the crowd. You may even be tempted to pop it on while in the house on regular occasions, just make sure you draw the curtains first.
